Yet access alone is no longer the central challenge.
The next frontier is ensuring that financial services are used in ways that improve resilience, support livelihoods, and create meaningful economic opportunity for those who remain underserved.
FSD Uganda’s 2025 Annual Report reflects on this transition. It captures key lessons from our work across digital financial services, the digital economy, access to long-term finance, gender equity, and research. It also marks the conclusion of our previous strategic period and the beginning of a new phase focused on deeper inclusion, stronger market systems, and greater impact at scale.
