Synopsis:

FSD Uganda supports macro interventions at the policy, regulation and industry association level that will support the development of an inclusive financial market. With funding from DFID, FSD Uganda has provide technical assistance to the 4th Industrial Revolution taskforce, convened under the Ministry of ICT & National Guidance MICT. The technical assistance has facilitated the creation of a strategic framework to guide Uganda in realising its 4IR aspirations.

The 4th Industrial Revolution presents many opportunities for developing countries to leapfrog development by stimulating growth in agriculture, trade, logistics, urbanisation and human capital development.

We believe that the 4IR strategy will play a big role in supporting Uganda to achieving middle income status by 2040.
